The final 2023 roadshow to Africa was a collaboration between IIN, Prosper Africa, and Power Africa. It took place from October 8, 2023, to October 13, 2023. The trip was a joint effort that brought together partners and stakeholders from various sectors in our network.
In July 2023, the IIN team, in partnership with Prosper Africa, Implemented an investor delegation trip to Gaborone, Botswana, on the sidelines of the Corporate Council on Africa's (CCA) US-Africa Business Summit hosted by the Republic of Botswana. The CCA holds its premier conference annually, and in 2023, a group of institutional investors joined the various stakeholders to explore investment opportunities in Africa. They took part in pitch sessions, engaged as panelists, and got to experience the rich culture of Botswana and the city of Gaborone.
On April 20, 2023 IIN hosted a small group of African investors alongside the World Bank Spring Meetings where they discussed private sector engagement on the continent and met with key US stakeholders to make the case for two-way US-Africa investment opportunities.
